Having had a heart stent fitted at the age of fifty-four in December 2015, I was trying to look after my health and diet and I was open to receive any helpful information available.
I measured my weight and blood pressure weekly, but the waistline measurement was one to add after reading ‘one month to change your life’ on the Cardiologist’s Kitchen website.
I’ve been using a rebounder (small trampoline) for 10 minutes every day for a couple of years now since watching some videos regarding the general health, well-being and particularly cardio benefits of doing so. There’s also the added bonus that my knees are a lot stronger now as well! I also walk across the lovely Mendip hills for between half an hour and two hours most days.
It has been very informative to see all the online CardioKit health and diet tips. It’s a shame the Cardiologist’s Kitchen Project is not available throughout the Somerset area – hopefully it will be one day!
